Artwork & File Requirements

Good merch starts with good artwork. To help achieve the best possible print and embroidery results, we recommend supplying high quality files wherever possible.

Preferred File Types

For the best print quality, we recommend:

• Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .PDF, .SVG)

• High resolution PNG files with transparent backgrounds

• Artwork created at print size where possible

If you’re unsure what file type you have, no stress — send through whatever you’ve got and we’ll help assess it.

Artwork Quality

Low resolution images, screenshots or compressed files may not print clearly and could require redraws or additional artwork preparation before production.

Milk Crate Merch reserves the right to reject artwork that is unsuitable for production quality standards.

Artwork Setup

To help avoid delays, please ensure:

• spelling is checked carefully

• colours are clearly communicated

• fonts are outlined where possible

• transparent backgrounds are used where required

Print colours may vary slightly between screens and physical production.

Please note: artwork cleanup, redraws, vector conversions, layout work or custom design services may incur an artwork fee starting from $150 AUD depending on the complexity of the project.

Intellectual Property

By supplying artwork to Milk Crate Merch, you confirm that:

• you own the rights to the artwork

• or you have permission to reproduce it

Milk Crate Merch accepts no responsibility for copyright or trademark issues relating to customer supplied artwork.

Final Artwork Approval

All artwork, mockups and production proofs must be approved before printing begins. Once approval has been given, responsibility for spelling, sizing, placement and artwork accuracy transfers to the customer.
